How much do custom hard hats cost?+
Custom Pyramex hard hats start at $13.39 per shell. Each 1-color logo location adds $15.39 per hat at 6–11 hats and drops to $0.69 per hat at 1,200+. A one-time setup of $65.00 applies to 1–2 color logos and $90.00 to 3–4 color logos.
What is the minimum order for custom hard hats?+
The minimum is 6 hats per design. Per-hat imprint pricing drops at 12, 16, 18, 24, 30, 32, 36, 42, 48, 96, 300, 600 and 1,200 hats.
Can the setup fee be reduced or waived?+
The setup fee is charged by the manufacturer. For larger orders, Firebrand asks Pyramex to reduce or waive it once your design is finalized.
How long do custom hard hats take?+
After you approve the manufacturer's proof and the order is placed, custom hard hats typically arrive in 2–4 weeks.
Where can my logo go on a hard hat?+
Front, left side, right side and back. Sides print up to 2.7" × 2". The front prints up to 3.25" × 2" for 1–2 color logos or 2.7" × 2" for 3–4 colors. Stock marks such as American flags and Safety First print 2" × 1" at every location.
What logo file should I upload?+
A vector file (SVG, AI, EPS or PDF) prints sharpest. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background also works. Final artwork is confirmed before the proof is made.
Do stickers or decals void a hard hat's certification?+
Manufacturer pad printing is applied under Pyramex's guidance, so it keeps the hat's ANSI Z89.1 rating. Some adhesives and paints can damage shells, which is why we print at the factory instead of using aftermarket decals.
